23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Someone has to answer this question:
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
The days must be shortened.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
There is now no more delay.
The method God used in William Branham’s ministry was Three Phases or “Pulls”, Just like He worked with Noah, Abraham, and Jesus.
This terminology “Third Pull” comes from a multi part vision Bro. Branham has around November of 1955, after preaching a series of meetings in San Fernando California. The Lord had always provided for Bro. Branham’s meetings, but these meetings left him in debt.
On His way home to Jeffersonville with his family, Bro. Branham decides to leave the field, go back to work for the public service company, and just preach at the Tabernacle.
He tells about it in his church on January 1st 1956:
But I went home, tired, weary, upset, crying, went to bed that night. And after the wife got to sleep, I went into the room, knelt down, said, “Dear Jesus, I don’t know what I’m going to do. Here I am right back where I started from again. See? I guess I made a failure.” About two hours from then, He appeared to me. 56-0101 - "Why Are People So Tossed About?"
He tells it in more detail four months later in a Message called “What is a Vision?” and again in the Seventh Seal
We are going to take from all the different times he tells it to try to draw a complete picture, mostly from What is a Vision.
Third Pull Vision
First Part: Two Little Children
(Theo and Finley)
“Here come something, moving. I seen two little, dark-faced children come, moving down, pulling a little wagon.”
“And these little children was walking towards me, little, kind of long hair; and black, dark eyes; brown face, coming, walking to me.”
He then moves out of this vision, like moving from one dimension to another.
Second Part: Meeting Dismissed

“And I seen Mr. Arganbright. He was his peculiar little way, the way he holds his head and kind of smiles as he looks at me. And he said, “Brother Branham,” he said, “we’ve put out cards, everywhere. And we got a way for you, get in and out. And everything is ready.”
I said, “All right, Brother Arganbright, which way shall I go?” He said, “Just keep on.” I walked on. I passed some ministers. Then, I walked a little farther. I came into a great panoramic affair, and all kinds of, looked like, seating for thousands of people.
And just then I heard someone say, “The meeting is dismissed.” “Well,” I said, “who dismissed it? How did it come to be dismissed?” And I was discussing. I said, “Why is it dismissed? What’s happened?” And it was sprinkling rain. And Something said to me, “By this you’ll know.”
This portion of the vision was fulfilled in Mexico in 1956, Bro. Branham went there and got the bullring to preach in, but the meeting was cancelled by someone due to rain, even though it was only sprinkling.
Third Part: A Baby Shoe

“And then I went in, farther into the vision. And when it did, I was standing with a little baby’s shoe, of about a year old.”
“And I had a string in my hand, trying to lace this little eighth-of-an-inch hole in this eyelet, with about a half-inch string.
So, just then I heard Someone say, behind me, “Don’t you understand that you can’t teach babies supernatural things?”
He said, “You’re using the wrong end of the string. And I looked down at the end of the string laying on the floor, a great pile of string, and it was laced down to a nice eighth of inch, so it would go through the hole. I said, “I understand.” And as I reached to pick up the string, I was taken again.”
Fourth Part: Fishing by a Lake

“And as I started to reach down, I was gone again. Then, when I come to, I was standing by the side of a beautiful lake, something like your lake out here in the summertime when it’s real pretty and green.
And there were fishermen all around the lake, and they were fishing, but they were catching small fishes.
And I looked out into the lake, and those great, beautiful rainbow trout out there, and I said, “I know this is a vision, but I can’t understand those trout. But,” I said, “you know, I believe, right down in my heart, I can catch those.”
And just then, the One behind me said, “Now I’ll teach you to fish, how to catch those.” And He said, “Tie on the lure.” And I snapped the lure on. He said, “Now throw way out,” “way out into the deep.”
And He said, “When you do, now let the lure sink down, first. Then,” said, “pull it slow.”
He said, “Then, when you do, now, you’ll feel some nibbles at it, but don’t tell nobody what you’re doing. Keep it to yourself.” “Then when you feel it nibble again,” “pull it just a little, a little bit, but not too hard,” “and then it’ll pull it away from the little fish.
And when they scatter, that’ll attract the attention of the big fish, and they’ll grab it.” And said, “That’s the way you’ll catch it.” Said, “Then, when they bite, on the third time, set your hook for the catch.”
This is why he calls it “The Third Pull”
“And I had the lure in my hand. And all these fishermen turned out to be ministers, and they all come around, saying, “Brother Branham, I know you can catch fish.”
Oh, of course, that made me feel real good. I said, “Oh, yes, I’m a fisherman. I can catch fish.”
“And all them ministers got around me, said, “Brother Branham, we know you can do it! Hallelujah! Brother Branham!”
“That’s where I always get tied up, with a bunch of preachers. See? I love people. They want you to explain everything, this, that.”
When he tried to explain it, he got his line tangled.
“I give it a great big jerk, and, when I did, I pulled the whole lure out of the water. And when I did, I caught a fish, but I wondered how he ever got the lure in his mouth. Cause, looked like the skin just stretched over the lure, about the same size of the lure."
“And just then, this One Who had been talking, behind me, stepped around in front of me. It was Him, the Angel of the Lord. He had His hands folded. He looked at me, said, “Just what I told you not to do!”
The Angel goes on to explain the vision:

He said, “You see, that First Pull was when you used to put your hands on the people and tell them what was their trouble.” Said, “The Second Pull was when you’d know the secrets of the heart, like I told you.”
And said, “Instead of you keeping that to yourself, you tried to explain all about it, and tell people. And when you did,” said, “you didn’t know nothing about it, yourself. And how could you explain it? And you’ve caused a big bunch of carnal impersonations to rise up, and you see what you’ve done.”
And I said, “Lord, I’m sorry.” And I said, “Oh, I’m so sorry! I don’t know what to do.”
And I was pulling the line, like this, and I was trying to straighten my line out. And He looked at me, said, “Now, don’t get your line tangled up, in these kind of times.”
Fifth Part: The Tent

“And then when He said that, just then I felt myself go higher, way up. And when I was set down, then I was beneath, and standing up above, a great tent. I never seen such a tent!”
“And just then He picked me up. He took me up, and sit me way up high, to where a meeting was going on. Looked like a tent or a cathedral, of some sort. “
“And I had just made a altar call, seeming like, down at the altar. And when I was down there, I looked, and there was hundreds of people standing around the altar, weeping, because they had accepted the Lord Jesus. And they were just weeping, out loud. And I said, “Oh, that’s more like it, like that.”
Bro. Branham still believed in altar calls.
Long prayer line
And I looked over, which was then to my left; and that would be to my right, if I was standing on the platform, would be that way. There’s a piece of canvas stretched there. And in behind this canvas was a little, square building, about twelve-foot across and twenty-foot long, something like that.
“And I seen them bringing a lady up, on a stretcher.”
“And so there’s someone come and got her, and pushed her through. And the next man come through, was with crutches. I see them go through that little building.”
“And on the outside, the lady come out, screaming to the top of her voice, pushing this stretcher.”
Then there was another lady on the other side, looked like kind of a dark-haired woman, and she said, “What happened?”
She said, “I just don’t know.” She said, “I couldn’t tell you what happened.” She said, “I have been paralyzed for twenty years. And, looky, I feel like I never was sick.”
And just then, out come the man, leaping and jumping, with his crutches in his hand.
“I heard something moving, as It does when It comes here at the platform, at night, kind of like a “Whew! Whew! Whew!” and like a Fire whipping around, licking blaze.”
“And It left me, and It went right down over the top of that audience, and went and stood over the top of that little building, then settled down on top of it.”

“And then, when It did, this One that was standing by me, behind me, the same Voice, the Angel’s Voice, He said, “I’ll meet you in there. And this is the Third Pull, but nobody will know nothing about it.”
And I said, “Well, I don’t understand. Why in there? Why there?” He said, “It will not be a public show, this time.”
The Third Pull is the Third Phase of William Branham’s ministry. He did not know what it would be, but later identified it as the Opening of the Word.
The First Pull, healing; Second Pull, prophesying; Third Pull, the opening of the Word, the mysteries revealed. 65-0725M - "The Anointed Ones At The End Time"
It was also identified by the Sword that he was given in Sabino Canyon.

And it struck my hand. And I looked, and it was a sword. And it had pearl handles, real pretty; and had a guard over it, with gold. And the blade looked like something like a chrome, like silver, only it was real shiny.
(sharp, shiny, just fit)
And just then a Voice shook down through there, that rocked the rocks. Said, “It’s the Sword of the King!” And then I come out of it.
And there is only one “the King,” and that’s God. And He has one Sword, that’s His Word, what I’ve lived by.
It’s the Word! Amen! Oh, what a day we’re living in! What a great thing! See the mystery and secret?
Standing there when this left me, Something just come to me and said, “Don’t fear.” This is that Third Pull.”

Third Pull! You remember It? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] He said, “You’ve had so many impersonators on this, what you tried to explain. But,” said, “don’t even try, This.”
You remember it? How many remembers that vision? [“Amen.”] Why, it’s all over. It’s taped, and everywhere. That’s been about six years ago, seven years ago. Been seven years ago. Said, “Don’t try to explain That.” Said, “This is the Third Pull, but I’ll meet you in there.” 63-0324E - "The Seventh Seal"
This third phase was also identified by three mountain peaks, and by three sets of messengers, little birds, bigger birds, angels.

Notice, the first little flight; hand. The second was greater, whiter, doves; Holy Spirit revealing the secrets of the heart. And the third flight was Angels (not birds), Angels; and that’s the end time, that’s all of it. 62-1230E - "Is This The Sign Of The End, Sir?"
Note: He was lifted up into the constellation of angels, just like he was lifted up above the tent or cathedral.
This Third Pull was identified by the Spoken Word (Hattie Wright, etc.) which we will deal with next time, if we can.

If you can understand it, this is that Third Pull. See? You should have caught that, the other day. See? So then, just remember, there’ll be no impersonation like there was of the other two. See? So, that’s as far as you should know now. 63-0324M - "Questions And Answers On The Seals"

Remember, Satan will try to impersonate. He’ll try to impersonate everything that the Church will do. He’s tried to do it. We notice it, through the antichrist.
But this is one thing he cannot impersonate. There’ll be no mimics to this, see, ’cause he don’t know It. There’s no way for him to know It. It’s the Third Pull. He just knows nothing about It. See? He doesn’t understand It. 63-0324E - "The Seventh Seal"
Bro. Branham re-tells the Third Pull vision, leaving out the part that happened in Mexico.
And in Sabino Canyon, He said, “This is the Third Pull.” And there’s three great things that goes with It. And one unfolded today, or, yesterday; the other one unfolded today; and there’s one thing that I cannot interpret, because it’s in an unknown language.
But I stand right there and looked right straight at It. And this is the Third Pull coming up. And the Holy Spirit of God…Oh, my! That’s the reason all Heaven was silent. 63-0324E - "The Seventh Seal"
It is the Seventh Seal.
The Third Pull is not just for the prophet, it is for us. Behold I send YOU Elijah.
It’s tightening. And then when that time comes, and the press comes to a place to where you’re pressed out, then watch what I’m fixing to tell you in a few minutes. Watch the Third Pull then, see, and it’ll be absolutely to the total lost, but it will be for the Bride and the Church. 63-1229E - "Look Away To Jesus"

The Spoken Word
The Opening of the Word
The Seventh Seal
The Coming of the Lord
God did not do that just for William Branham, He did it for us.
The Third Pull is Christ in you.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
So now I am going to say something to you, now, that I haven’t said all along. And, that is, the thing that we have looked forward to for so long (for at least many years, four or five years, or maybe longer), the Third Pull, has now been vindicated, and I’m sure you all know what it is.
Now remember, there’ll never be an impersonation of that, ’cause it can’t be. See, it cannot be. Now it’s in existent. And I have…I am warned of this, that soon…
Right at this time now it’s just happened, so it could identify its presence among you, see, but it will not be used in a great way until this Council begins to tighten up.
And when it does, when that does…The Pentecostals, and so forth, can almost impersonate anything can be done. But when that time comes, when the squeeze comes down, then you’ll see, what you’ve seen temporarily, be manifested in the fullness of its power. 63-1229E - "Look Away To Jesus"

Now is the time we need the Third Pull, now we need the Seventh Seal, now we need Christ in His fullness. We need to go through that little room, and be healed.
